Oy’s shooting style is a photojournalistic blend with fine art portraiture.
She documents what happens before her as it unfolds.
No awkward poses or anything that will make you feel uncomfortable. She loves capturing how you are as a couple, so you can just be yourself. She will lead you into beautiful light, create a space for you to have your moment as husband and wife and capture the love you have for each other unobtrusively.
She believes your wedding day photo’s should reflect who you are as a couple.
What she loves most about wedding photography is the human connection and emotions that she is able to capture into beautiful photographs.
“If my photos make you smile, it’s probably because I also smiled when I clicked the shutter. In every photos, part of it, is storytelling and another part is my feelings toward those moments. I often cry at father and daughter dance and I always have a big smile behind the camera when shooting bride and groom portraits.”
Capturing the love is the privilege of being a wedding photographer. She believes it’s important that your wedding photos should not only tell you the story but also how you felt at that moment.

Like Kate & Rea, I grew up in Healesville, never fully comprehending just how lucky I was to be in this part of the world. It wasn’t until I returned after a decade working abroad that the majesty and beauty of the region really sunk in.
It brings me great pleasure to showcase the Yarra Valley through my work, shooting weddings, events and businesses. I absolutely love photographing people as they enjoy the wonderful and endless treasures our venues, staff and locations have to offer.
